ShellZone DEX-COOL Concentrate is suitable for a five year or 150,000 mile service life in automotive applications. In heavy-duty applications not requiring nitrite. Shell DEX-COOL Concentrate is intended for use as an extended life universal automotive gasoline or diesel engine antifreeze/coolant. It protects brass, aluminum, copper steel, cast iron and solder from corrosion. It also has exceptional heat transfer properties and is anti-foaming. It’s compatible with cooling system filters, diesel supplemental coolant additives and conventional coolants. ShellZone In its unused form, DEX-COOL is biodegradable, and the solution is nitrite, borax and amine free.
